Steve Ferguson, was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota, but lived most of his life in Fairfax County. He spent four years of service in the United States Army’s elite Honor Guard (The Old Guard)., stationed at Ft. Myer, Virginia, and was called back to duty in support of Desert Storm/Shield. Steve has 25 years of experience as a personal trainer,and is certified through the National Federation of Professional Trainers. In addition to his time in the military, his college background is psychology and independent studies. Steve credits an early fascination with the Jack LaLanne as the catalyst for his passion with fitness. An accomplished distance runner in his younger days, Steve came to the realization that he could be even more fit in less time, while preserving his knees, through high intensity, low impact, military-style calistentic exercises. Steve is a career professional in vocational education at a facility that serves the needs of adults with physical and mental disAbilities in Northern Virginia. In his spare time he trains in the martial arts, likes to spend time with his dog, and is a avid fan of the cinema.
